Is there any way I can put an Intel Chip in a PPC Mac?

I've heard rumors that 10.6 Snow Leopard for Mac will drop PPC support. I don't want to buy a new computer, and I want to take a leap into the coming technologies! I currently have a PPC G4 Mac. Please help!

That is impossible, Intel and PPC are completely incompatible physically. you may be able to get away with just getting a new motherboard and intel chip but that would be quite difficult and is not supported by Apple.

    PPC's can't run x86-64 I think…. And Leopard is x86-64

I think I smell it's new computer time

Check Newegg for prices, they usually are cheaper than Apple even when selling apples

Or you could join the Dark Side and buy a PC >:)
