As mentioned by another, since Facebook is a free service, they can do what they want. The jumbling things up probably has more to do with Facebook trying to figure out how they can make money, especially since to date they still operate on seed money. I believe the changes apply more to fan pages since many businesses have been able to monetize their Facebook presence.

Your point is well taken, but do keep in mind, I, as a user do make them money. I click on ads, have clients set up Facebook ads, and although I don’t pay for the service, their success depends on me and people like me…

The question is why does Facebook need to ask. You don\\\’t pay for the service. I am not defending their changes with no user input. Just a thought. Truthfully the changes this recent round were not (my opinion) as dramatic as the last round.

I think as users we need to define WHAT we want FB to do. How it could work better rather than simply be against what changes they make. No C.A.V.E. (citizens against virtually everything) people.

My question to you, perhaps a blog post from you… (and I will do the same) is what is the future of FB and where do we as users want it to go. Let\\\’s hold their feet to the fire and explain WHY the most recent round of changes and then… where do we WANT this to go.

Just my thoughts… Love ya! I will give you a call this weekend and give you an update on my goings on…
