If you’re concerned that Twitter’s acquisition of the popular iPhone app Tweetie will halt development on Tweetie for Mac, don’t be.
Amid concerns from Mac users, Tweetie developer Atebits responded on the MacHeist forums today:
Hey all – first of all I apologize for any confusion, things have been a bit crazy! I just want to says I’m blasting through the todo list to get a beta put together as fast as I can, the Mac UI stuff I’ve been prototyping is just too cool to have anything else happen to it. Sorry for keeping it short, gotta get back to coding!
Never fear – Tweetie 2 for Mac will be here … soon.

is it true if your have a budgie bird (year and a half) and I get another the first bird will not communicate?
I took a new bird home yesterday and my Tweetie peetie who would usually tweet and come out of the cage did not yesterday
Maybe they don’t like each other yet. They need to get used to each other!
Bam Margera is so cool!

well keep doing what you normally do for bot a week or 2 and of nothing happens then a would advise you to go back with one bird

the first bird may feel that the new one is getting more attention so try to still spend a lot of time with your first bird as well as getting them used to each other. birds are very intelligent and can feel the same emotions as us humans so your first may feel jealous of the new one. keep trying and don’t give up. GOOD LUCK!!!

territoral and then rejected or replaced so now you have to work even harder to over come the rejection

haha oh dont worry I did the same thing. Tweetie peetie is just shy and adapting to the knew bird but in time they will get to know eachother and go out of the cage together. She is probably just a little uncomfortable right now. Her favorite treets should help. Its kinda like when some people (some more bashful than others) first meet someone or like back in the school days, when you were just meeting knew people….little akward lol say hi to your birds for me!
