Any suggestions for a new laptop owner?
Okay, so I just bought my first laptop from best buy and I knew they were going to do their best to sell me every accessory known to man. I’m curious about geeksquad, however, and I want to know if anyone recommends going through them to get help optimizing it and letting them install antivirus and antispyware software or if I should purchase my own antivirus software at a more appealing price? Any comments or past experiences would be nice to know. Thanks.

Really, you can get free antivirus software and in my opinion, it works just as well, and many people use it. AVG or Antivir is the best way to go if you want free antivirus software. Look into it though. Antispyware I would just use Spybot Search and Destroy, it is also really great and free. But if you really want to pay then you might as well just let them install it, everything is done for you and if there is any problems they will take care of it right there.
